ACE is a working gun dog. He hunts the big water of Lake Michigan and Huron as well as the bays and lakes of Michigan. He is pictured above with his many hunting competition ribbons. His temperament is wonderful-friendly and easygoing except when birds are involved-then he is intense. He has a wonderful harsh coat and lovely shoulders and overall conformation. We have long admired the Hardwood dogs and are so pleased to be able to breed to Ace.
His pedigree traces back to our legendary Casablanca with a cross to the famous Blustrywood kennel. His sire has been producing some lovely looking and good working offspring.

DAPHNE is 23" 75lbs. She is a beautiful chestnut red color; coarse thick coat. A melting expression, her head is broad but feminine. She has bone, proper proportion, well sprung ribs and a deep chest. Angles front & rear are complimentary-broad thigh muscles. She loves to hunt for voles in the tall grasses or frogs around the pond! Very affectionate in nature and meets no one a stranger. She easily completed her Ch title with BOB's over specials. She comes from a litter that has proven to be exceptional-3 champion littermates and another with obedience and rally titles. A classic Chesapeake all around.
