EDGE also known as "Dude" is 24" and 80 lbs. and a lovely chestnut brown in color. Proven sire. His coat is heavily waved and coarse; handsome head and nicely bone and balanced in angulation. Edge completed his Ch title with three majors and a BOB from classes over champions.
His temperament is OUTSTANDING-very much his dam and her sire Casablanca. He is great with kids and other dogs. Well behaved, calm, smart and he takes new experiences in stride. EDGE reminds us so very much of our first Chesapeake Saxon. He is, in fact, a 6th generation offspring of Saxon's! Dude's offspring generally share his sunny and easy going personality. A number are hunting, competing in shows and are just great companions.
Dude's sire we brought in from Seattle WA area as part of our program of finding and using dogs outside of the local box. Outstanding marker, stylish and with a work ethic not common in the breed, we are especially pleased with what he has brought to our breeding. Dude's dam an easy to live with girl, extreme intelligence, love of water and desire to please, she is her sire all over again. Her sister is the dam of the youngest Chesapeake CH/MH QA2 dog ! Casablanca "Bogey" one of the outstanding sires in the breed history, he was my once in a lifetime dog. Superb marker and handling dog, a willingness to do things your way, intelligence and outstanding conformation. He sired QAA offspring, Ch/MH, BIS, Group One winner and Specialty winners. People who owned his get describe them as a dog of a lifetime.

RUDDER, an amazing family dog! Great with children and protective of our family. She is lean & muscular and weighs 65lbs! She is a stunning dark dead grass in color with a medium curly coat. Rudder can't get enough of swimming in both freshwater and the Ocean here in Rhode Island! She has a leaping entry into the water. In the winter she loves to run up and down the Mountains in New Hampshire. It's clear she came from a great bloodline! She is the queen of retrieving and won't stop on her own! She is a pleaser too. She was professionally trained and is a terrific companion and great listener!
