We expect a mainly brown colors but there is a possibility of sedge & deadgrass. They should have heavy coats and proper bone, short backs and with correct movement-power and reach. With their background, these pups will be ready to be hunting Fall 2014. As well they should be winning in the conformation ring, & capable of competing in hunt tests, agility, obedience, and dock dogs or superb as companions. The temperaments should be-outgoing, people oriented attitudes but still retaining the desirable breed traits of devotion to family. These will be intelligent dogs with trainability and a sensible nature-typical of our Pond Hollow breeding focus.

TRIP is a handsome and outgoing dog. He rapidly made his Ch title including a BOB over group placing specials. He has a POWERFUL rear standing and moving-something not as common as it should be in the breed. He has a broad head, good working coat, loves to retrieve and is one of those real "character" dogs. He is another lovely "Denver" son out of our Bering Sea daughter "Time". We just love his personality and sweetness. He is 24" 85 lbs. scissors bite.

WICKED is 22" 65 lbs. sparingly shown, she easily completed her Ch title. She is an ACC supported entry winner and was Winners over 85 other females at our 2009 National Show. Her conformation & movement excel in balance. She is well angled at both ends, has a thick heavy waved coat, good tail carriage, lovely head. She moves without effort-absolute soundness. She is a determined and fast retriever. Her personality is charming & disarming-kisses, tail wagging-she meets no strangers. Yet she is a good watch dog like a CBR should be. Her sire is a MH. Her dam was a substantial girl with points in conformation and a hunting prowess who was hit by a car while hunting in OK. Wicked's 6 generation pedigree contains DC/AFC, FT QAA ***, 2 MH, multiple group winning and placing parentage.
Pups from her first litters are proving to be excellent hunters and affectionate and outgoing companions.
