About "Legend":
LEGEND died recently at 15 1/2 yrs. She was a dark brown girl with a superb coat, good bone, and attractive head. Not a big female-22" 62 lbs, she had 4 pts including a major. But conformation shows were not her thing-she preferred swimming in the pond, running in the fields and retrieving.
She was named for King Arthur's lengendary birthplace in Cornwall UK-Tintagel. It is a beautiful wild place on the sea that Bill I visited in 2003.
Her offspring were very talented and good looking-3 were MH titled; another a SH ( had 2 MH legs but a divorce prevented her from titling); a son who had all-breed FT placements in Qualifying; and 4 who made their Ch titles. She left a legacy. Her offspring are an important part of Pond Hollow breeding.
She spent her retirement like in Baltimore MD- thank-you Donna D'Alessio for giving her the love and attention she deserved.
